Goshin Karate & Judo Academy Provides Conflict Avoidance Seminar at North Ranch Elementary
After receiving a letter that one of the students in our community was approached by a strange man that offered her a ride as she walked home from school, North Ranch Elementary School ask Goshin Karate & Judo Academy to present our ABC’s of Conflict Avoidance Seminar for the 1st graders
The goal at Goshin is to create safe schools & street smart kids that know simple, comprehensive, easy methods of "Not Fighting" and living safely.
The information we teach is "cutting edge". This program is practical, easy to follow, and the students love it. Every discussion topic has been tested and used in our school and classroom for years. It does not follow a lecture format. Generally there is a brief story, followed by a few questions and then role-playing.
Children learn from experience. This lets them get practical life experience in a safe environment.

The ABC's of Conflict Avoidance - primarily teaches avoidance strategies.
Stranger Alert - teaches how to identify a lure and what to do.
Five Rules of Personal Safety - teaches what to do when confronted (in the schoolyard) and how to resolve the situation peacefully.
Trust Your Intuition - teaches practical techniques to fine-tune your students' awareness and intuition.

Good Attitude - teaches benefits of having the right attitude for success.
Good Habits - teaches practical ways to develop self-discipline, responsibility, and focus.
Good Self Control - teaches practical ways to control and channel emotions.
Good Manners - emphasizes the benefits of courtesy and respect.
Special Thanks goes to first grade teacher Mrs. Glenn Krell at North Ranch Elementary School for organizing and supervising this event.
