Karate Schools to Break Guinness Record


Public Invited to Compete for World Martial Arts Record

Scottsdale Arizona – Goshin Karate & Judo Academy announced today that it is inviting the public to break the world record for the most karate style punches thrown in one hour.

The event is authorized by the Guinness Book of World Records®, and will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at: Goshin Karate & Judo Academy 6245 E. Bell Road #120, Scottsdale AZ. 85254. The winner will be listed in the Guinness World Records® database.

Winners will also be recognized in the following categories by the Sidekick Foundation, Inc. a national charity helping at-risk children, the elderly and special needs people:

Child under 7 male and female
Child 7-12 male and female
Teen 13-15 male and female
Adult 16-45 male and female
Senior 46+ male and female
Special needs male and female

Winners in each category will receive a special certificate establishing their record, issued by the Foundation.

Anyone, even if not studying a martial art can enter.

Make sure to bring your entry to Goshin Karate & Judo Academy 6245 E. Bell Road #120, Scottsdale AZ. 85254 as soon as possible. Space is limited.

Proceeds from this event will be applied to several different programs of the Foundation.
